Custom Volunteer Opportunties Move hearts, minds and bodies

Join us for a custom day of service at our music center in NYC. Available for a few hours or an entire day, each event is customized to meet your goals and can accommodate 10 - 30 volunteers. Sample activities include, a tour of our barrier-free music center, an inclusive music class with members of the DMF community, accessible instrument demonstration and deep cleaning of instruments. Brainstorming and consulting sessions on our latest projects can also be integrated into the experience. Not in NYC, no problem – custom, virtual volunteer days are also available.

Presentations & Performances Thinking Differently About Disability

Disability as a topic can be complicated. It is a word with many meanings, interpretations and perceptions that oftentimes brings with it pre-conceived notions. Through powerful storytelling and the universal language of music, DMF provides a fresh, unique perspective that makes disability approachable, relatable and human. Whether you are looking to help shape a culture of mutual understanding and respect, gain deeper insights into the disability universe, or simply honor a key disability month in an authentic way - Daniel’s Music will deliver.

Record LabelCelebrating Artists without Boundaries

Designed as a non-traditional record label, Just Call Me By My Name supports artists with disabilities through performance, song placement, and other areas of professional development. Through our corporate partnerships and community relationships, we are opening doors to opportunities for our artists. As an extension of Daniel’s Music Foundation, we are breaking down barriers celebrating artistry, and ensuring every musician is recognized by their name - not their disability.
