"Coffee Cart" - Crista (Original)

It seems to me a coffee cart is a transitory thing

here today gone tomorrow, at the mercy of wind and rain

But in the midst of the daily traffic jam brothers Halmot and Abraham

For years serve us our breakfast as we hurry from the train

Good morning, your usual, plain bagel and coffee black?

Hey, here's your hot tea two sugars, and I'm glad to see you're back!

Icy wind at 3 degrees Poppy seed or sesame

Surrounded by taxi chaos, and the rattle of the track

Elbow to elbow, Cramped in the cart  Abraham and Halmot

Danish, sure, which would you like, apple or apricot?

Ten AM from our offices, ready to run back up

Abraham with a skillful hand preps and fills each cup

6 AM In my office, set hot coffee by my phone

Boot up my computer I'll have at least two hours alone!

In the quiet dark the phone's sharp ring

gives me a scare

and as I reach to pick it up the hot cup flies through the air

I grab the cup with both hands and it pops up like a football

bounces off my keyboard and begins its epic fall

I try to stop the coffee's trash- recycling ricochet

but no matter where in the dark I go the cup just gets away

It hops and jolts through maze of wires and under the network cable

my office chair rolls into the hall, the cup skips under a table

Behind that box of stuff that I know will not get sold

I find the runaway cup where it has finally rolled

I think about that paper cup that Abe so carefully filled

And find the lid on, cup on its side, not a drop has  spilled

If you're looking for coffee advice, my wisdom I'll intone

Always get your coffee from Hal and Abe, and don't put it by your phone

some have a special restaurant, favorite waiter, on a nearby street

I have my trusty coffee cart, coffee skim and bagel whole wheat

You can keep your  sommelier, I'll get my coffee from Hal and Abe

I find the warmest breakfast at the corner, on my street

I find the warmest smiles at the corner, on the street

"Sorry" - Justin Bieber

Ooh, ooh

Ooh, ooh

You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty

You know I try but I don't do too well with apologies

I hope I don't run out of time, could someone call a referee?

'Cause I just need one more shot at forgiveness

I know you know that I made those mistakes maybe once or twice

By once or twice I mean maybe a couple of hundred times

So let me, oh let me redeem, oh redeem, oh myself tonight

'Cause I just need one more shot at second chances

Yeah, is it too late now to say sorry?

'Cause I'm missing more than just your body

Oh, is it too late now to say sorry?

Yeah, I know that I let you down

Is it too late to say I'm sorry now?

Ooh, ooh

I'm sorry, yeah

Ooh, ooh

Sorry, yeah

Ooh, ooh

Sorry

Yeah, I know that I let you down

Is it too late to say I'm sorry now?

Ooh, ooh

I'll take every single piece of the blame if you want me to

But you know that there is no innocent one in this game for two

I'll go, I'll go and then you go, you go out and spill the truth

Can we both say the words and forget this?

Yeah, is it too late now to say sorry?

'Cause I'm missing more than just your body

Oh, is it too late now to say sorry?

Yeah, I know that I let you down

Is it too late to say I'm sorry now?

I'm not just trying to get you back on me

'Cause I'm missing more than just your body

Is it too late now to say sorry?

Yeah, I know that I let you down

Is it too late to say I'm sorry now?

Ooh, ooh

I'm sorry, yeah

Ooh, ooh

Sorry, yeah

Ooh, ooh

Sorry

Yeah, I know that I let you down

Is it too late to say I'm sorry now?

Ooh, ooh

I'm sorry, yeah

Ooh, ooh

Sorry, yeah

Ooh, ooh

Sorry

Yeah, I know that I let you down

Is it too late to say I'm sorry now?

"I Love Her Just The Same" - Persephone (Original)

My grandma was born in 1920

Her parents didn’t have too much money

They lived in a two-story house in Queens

Her dad had a store with big machines

Marge had a job  in the city

With her green eyes she was so pretty

A tall, handsome guy, who worked downstairs

Fell in love with her. And they became a pair

Marge and Bill married in ’43

They wanted to raise a family

They had a baby boy in ’44

Then a baby girl, and then two more

She has one good eye and one good ear

I sit on her left side so she can hear

Sometimes she forgets my name

But I love her just the same

She brought me to school, took me on walks

Over the years we had many talks

She gave me baths, helped me get dressed

She brushed my hair. She’s the best.

She came to see me in a show

That was a very long time ago

She saw me dancing on the stage

She was proud of me, and so amazed

She is now one hundred and one

Although she’s old we still have fun

I sing to her while she sits in her chair

I call her on the phone when I can’t be there

She has one good eye and one good ear

I sit on her left side so she can hear

Sometimes she forgets my name

But I love her just the same

"Boyfriend" - Big Time Rush

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boy

Have you ever had the feeling you're drawn to someone?

(Yeah)

And there isn't anything they could of said or done?

And everyday I see you on your own

And I can't believe that you're alone

But I overheard your girls and this is what they said

Looking for a, looking for a

That you're looking for a boyfriend (yeah)

I see that, gimme time, you know I'm gonna be there

Don't be scared to come put your trust in me

Can't you see all I really want to be

Is your boyfriend (yeah)

Can't fight that

Knock me down you know I'm coming right back

I don't care at all what you done before

All I really want is to be your

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Let me take a little moment to find the right words

(To find the right words)

So when I kick it to you it ain't something that you've heard

(Something that you've heard)

I don't know what kind of guy that you prefer

But I know I gotta put myself forwards

See I think got the kind of love that you deserve

And I heard

That you're looking for a boyfriend

I see that, give me time, you know I'm gonna be that

Don't be scared to come put your trust in me

Can't you see all I really want to be

Is your boyfriend (yeah)

Can't fight that

Knock me down you know I'm coming right back

I don't care at all what you done before

All I really want is to be your

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

If you tell me where, I'm waiting here

Everyday like Slumdog Millionaire

Bigger then the Twilight love affair

I'll be here

Girl, I swear

Looking for a, looking for a

That your looking for a boyfriend (yeah)

I see that, give me time, you know I'm gonna be that

Don't be scared to come put your trust in me

Can't you see all I really want to be

Is your boyfriend (yeah)

Can't fight that

Knock me down you know I'm coming right back

I don't care at all what you done before

All I really want is to be your

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

(Your boyfriend)

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

(All I really want is to be your)

(Your boyfriend)

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

(Yeah) your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

Your boy boy b-b-b-b-b-boyfriend

All I really want is to be your

"I'll Always Be There For You" - Jacob (Original)

I heard you weren’t feeling great today

That you got some really bad news

I don’t know what words to say

But I’m sorry that it happened to you

I am here now by your side

I know these weeks have been tough

But I just wanted to make some time

To try to cheer you up

I’ll always be there for you

If you ever need me

Call me anytime,

just dial my number

If you need to reach me

I’ll always be there for you

We bring comfort to people

When we open up our heart

Being kind to one another

Is a really good way to start

When we listen to each other

We accomplish many things

And we can help one another

With whatever life brings

I’ll always be there for you

If you ever need me

Call me anytime, just dial my number

If you need to reach me

I’ll always be there for you

When you open up your heart

If you’re generous and kind

A phone call or a birthday card

Can change somebody’s mind

I’ll always be there for you

If you ever need me

Call me anytime,

just dial my number

If you need to reach me

I’ll always be there for you

"Gracias a la Vida" - Mercedes Sosa

Gracias a la vida, que me ha dado tanto

Me ha dado el sonido y el abecedario

Con él las palabras que pienso y declaro

Madre, amigo, hermano y luz alumbrando

La ruta del alma del que estoy amando

La la lai lai lai lai lai la la lai lai la

¡Canta!

La la lai lai lai lai lai la la lai lai la

Gracias a la vida, que me ha dado tanto

Me ha dado el oído, que en todo su ancho

Graba noche y día grillos y canarios

Martillos, turbinas, ladridos, chubascos

"Somebody to Love" - Queen

Each morning I get up I die a little

Can barely stand on my feet (take a look at yourself)

Take a look in the mirror and cry

Lord, what you're doing to me

I have spent all my years in believing you

But I just can't get no relief, Lord

Somebody uh (somebody) somebody (somebody)

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

I work (he works hard) hard every day of my life

I work 'til I ache my bones

At the end (at the end of the day) I take home my hard earned pay all on my own

I go down on my knees

And I start to pray (praise the Lord)

'Til the tears run down from my eyes

Lord, somebody uh (somebody) somebody (somebody)

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

I try and I try and I try

But everybody wants to put me down

They say I'm goin' crazy

They say I got a lot of water in my brain

I got no common sense

I got nobody left to believe

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Oh, Lord

Somebody uh (somebody) somebody (somebody)

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

Got no feel, I got no rhythm

I just keep losing my beat

I'm alright, I'm alright (he's alright)

I ain't gonna face no defeat

I just gotta get out of this prison cell

Someday I'm gonna be free, Lord

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Somebody (somebody) somebody (somebody)

Somebody find me, somebody find me somebody to love

Can anybody find me

Somebody to come on, love, yeah

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody, somebody, somebody to love (find me somebody to love)

Find me, find me, find me, find me uh somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love (anybody, anywhere)

Somebody, somebody to love yeah yeah oh (find me somebody to love)
