Membership to DMF is free and is available to people with disabilities, both developmental and physical from 3 years old to adult. We serve members with many different disabilities, including the autism spectrum, blind/visually impaired, cerebral palsy, chromosome and developmental disorders, Down Syndrome, hydrocephalus, PDD/NOS, Multiple Sclerosis, paralysis and traumatic brain injury, among others.

Members are welcome to participate in our Instruction Classes based on availability and appropriateness as determined by our instructors and staff.

Volunteering

We have volunteer opportunities for both musicians and non-musicians. We are grateful to the many volunteers who have already helped out at DMF in many different capacities. Whether assisting our members, filming, taking photos or helping with our recitals, their talent, enthusiasm and dedication is greatly appreciated. We also appreciate our affiliation with the community service programs at both The Dalton School and Manhattanville College.
