If you are interested in becoming part of the DMF Community in some way we would love to hear from you. Together we can use music as the voice for people with disabilities and build a bridge between the disabled community and others.
Having our members feel accepted and respected within our community, as well as the greater community at large is a priority at Daniel’s Music. To support this objective we are committed to the DMF Diversity Awareness Through Music Initiative, a free volunteer program that harnesses the power of music to create opportunities between members of the DMF Community and other organizations to foster a mutual respect and appreciation for each other.
We have volunteer opportunities for both musicians and non-musicians and are grateful to the many volunteers who have already helped out at DMF in many different capacities. Whether assisting our members, filming, taking photos or helping with our events, their talent, enthusiasm and dedication is greatly appreciated.
Our paid instructors are music therapists, special education teachers (with a proficiency in music) and musicians who all have a great deal of experience. Although they come from varied musical backgrounds, the one constant is their passion for our members.
DMF has built strong relationships with other like-minded organizations that wish to improve people’s lives through music and those focused specifically on helping individuals with disabilities.
